Our kindergarten graduate

Shaylee had a special day last Thursday.....She graduated from kindergarten and will be moving on to 1st grade at a new school. She was so excited to wear her pretty dress, sandals, and to have her toe-nails painted. We curled her hair all pretty (which she was NOT so excited about), but she sure looked beautiful!

Shaylee is a little nervous to get up in front of people (My kids got the Lovell gene a little too strong in them!)  So she didn't want to go up with her class. She was sitting on the floor watching everyone else but then her aide took her up to the front and she did ok. Her teachers said she did great during practice and would even do some of the actions to the songs.....but not in front of an audience!

I did cry seeing her make this step in life! Tears of joy and a little sadness too watching my baby girl grow up so fast.
